Moroccan Political Parties

Socialist union of people's forces: It was originally formed as a socialist opposition party which was split from the Istiqlal party. During the elections the party won 50 seats. It became the largest party in morocco. After that it lost 12 seats and became the fifth largest parliament in morocco.

Party of progress and socialism: Political party in morocco founded by Ali Yata in 1974. The party in the elections won 11 seats and the next election it won 17 seats. The PPS was included in the prime minister government.

· The Popular Movement: It’s a conservative liberal party in morocco. The party is a full member of Liberal International which it joined in the Latter’s Dakar Congress in 2003. In the elections the party won 27 seats during the next election it improved and won with 41 seats.

· The Authenticity and Modernity Party: Moroccan party founded by El Himma in 2008 august. Lots of political parties came in the PAM. The national Democratic Party wanted to join the party but then became against it. The first secretary was Mohamed Biadilah.
