planning

the best sites to find info in are sites that end with .gov or .com or .uk
The sites should have citation information with the name of the author and all info needed to complete the bibliography. Books are better sources then the cites because they get published before being released. However sites are not that reliable because anybodu could add stuff in the internet without getting published.
take a look at maps librarys and many other resources and always list you resources in a neat anf oragnized fashion.

Imperialism

The policy, practice, or advocacy of extending the power and dominion of a nation especially by direct territorial acquisitions or by gaining indirect control over the political or economic life of other areas; broadly : the extension or imposition of power, authority, or influence

Imperialism has to sides to it like all the other things. A bad and good part.
Good part: The nations build roads, canals, and railways. new technology, newspaper, established schools and overall made them economized. The people become part of modern culture after this occurred. Another positive effect is Missionaries. " It shows how the colonial governments introduced improved medical care, and better methods of sanitation. There were new crops; tools and farming methods, which helped, increase food production. These changes meant less death to smaller colonies, and overall improve the state of living. They now could live a healthy life and live for longer time.

Bad part The nation were put to work as cheap labor. They had no freedom, had to do what the mother country said since it has so much towering power over them, they were exploited and were taken advantage of. The last negative effect can be seen in document called "The German Cartoon." This cartoon shows how severely the presence of imperialism affected such continents as Africa. The man in the machine is being forced to drink hard liquor and alcohol, they were corrupted and given evil minds, their money was all taken away, and most of all religion was forced upon them.

In my opinion Imperialism is mainly bad because all Africans and Asians were heavily exploited and were given no rights to do anything even though the mother countries gave them modern culture. Colonies inside colonies would fight because they wanted independence and have their own government and rule.

look at this document it is really helpful www.edteck.com/dbq/dbquest/quest10.htm

The Ben's times

In November 1898, opponents of U.S policy in the philippines established the anti imperialist league . Most of its organizers were well to do Professional. They included editor E.l. Godkin, democratic politician William jennings, Bryan, settlement house leader JAne addams and the novelist Mark Twain.

Moral and polictical arguments , to support their position, the anti-imperialist used a variety of arguments. As one prominent republican and former senator from Missouri explained in 1889.

"we regret that it has become necessary in the land of Washington and Lincoln to reafirm that all men of whatever race or color are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." _ Carl Schure Cayton Perry Reed Winkler pg. 373

The people who were for imperialism : offers new frontiers for the American imagination and spirit.

The people who were against imperialism : Reject the foundations of american ideals and democracy.

Maintaining the necessary armed forces required more taxation debt.

buisness plans

Tahar EL Yacoubi

Mohamed Benouanas

Company name: Ets. YacBen and co.

Products:

· Our idea is to buy the best milk producing cows and take those cows and put them in a farm to milk them every day and test the milk in a laboratory. Then we’ll sell the milk to yogurt, cheese, Biscuit and whip cream factories. We will also manufacture the milk to sell it as natural fresh milk and the left over will serve as butter making.

· We will build our first company (factories) in Switzerland in the U.S.A. and Holland. That is because the majority of the people in these countries are rich. After making a very high profit of our sales we will then build and spread our factories around the world in many other places like Africa, china India and many other places. Our stores will be everywhere in Florida, New York, Tokyo and Holland from where we will export our cows. These countries are very populated and it will help us to sell lots of our milk and butter.

· Our main OEM is located in Holland because it is the place where the most of our cows will be brought from and where most of our milk will be made and sent in other countries.

· We will have a lot of workers from different countries like Americans, Moroccans, Europeans, Australians, Chinese and many more. We take workers around the world to have many ideas from foreign people that have different ideas. We also would like for different people from different countries to unite and work as one.

As we said before we will first milk our cows

1. Test the milk for any microbes or diseases being carried.

2. Then we will sell 25% of our milk to Yogurt factories.

3. After that we will produce our own butter and whip crème out of the 25% of milk because they are the most expensive.

4. The other 25% left will be for natural fresh milk selling.

5. The last 25% will be sold to Biscuit factories.

Sacratic seminar

The sacra tic seminar that we had in class was really helpful because we all combined our information. These types of seminars help the learning of many people in many ways. We the audience in the seminar listen and gather ionformation from their peers. What i personally learned is that people should plan ahead and always plan for the worst that could happen. Ive also learned about how destruction could affect change and how people could feel sorry for the past and start with a fresh begging.
